A land of magnificent cities and mountainous nature, Slovakia is a landlocked country in Central Europe, are perfect for many people come to enjoy of their getaway. While Bratislava the capital of Slovakia is the country’s modernist buildings and bustle city. But Kosice; the second city in Slovakia, situated on the river Hornád near, is much leisurely and more contemplative. The Kosice town not only has extensive railway connections, it also is a well-preserved historical town.
We walk on Kosice town the longest pedestrian promenade in the country as well as the area of historical urban architecture with features everything buildings mix of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Nouveau styles. Although the historic architecture building even this modest-sized and precision-engraving is weaker compare to other euro country, but rich in culture and relaxing atmosphere become one of the most interesting for comes to city breaks.
Yet, Kosice is the biggest concentration of the historical monuments in the country, its tumultuous history has resulted in an architecturally rich settlement. We walk into built in the late 18th century history of building and our interest-see is the Classicist building with the late baroque elements which performance elegant of the historical building. Here we are happily spend a half-day wandering through lies in the beautiful architecture.

After view the graceful of Cathedral, we continuous walk slowly and walking distance are the singing fountain and next of stand also is another Gothic building, St Michael Chapel a place of the former cemetery and another tourist attraction name as St. Urban’s Tower.
We are wandering through the long main street or narrow pathways of the pedestrian zone gazing at the historic building surrounding with many boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Grab for view of a historic walled city core with scenic narrow streets and plenty of beautiful architectural delights. Or you can sit on one of the cafes in the colourful three-storey situated on the elongated main square of Hlavná street, feel of the peaceful and the relaxing city.
Kosice, one such city that offers a local atmosphere, full and concentration of the histories and monuments, by the way it also is more contemplative and quiet of the city which can be found in Slovakia.
